American country music artist , Miranda Lambert, is widely recognised after the sucess of her debut album Kerosene ( 2005 ), which was certified Platinum in the United States. Having released five albums, she has collected six consecutive Academy of Country Music Female Vocalist of the Year awards , one Grammy Award ( Best Country Award for the fifth album Platinum ) and become the first woman to win five consecutive Country Music Association.
BEFORE FAMEMiranda was born in Texas and learned playing guitar from her father as well as wrote her own songs. Since studying in highschool, Miranda had made her debut with The Texas Pride Band. Winning the third place in Nashville Star ( 2003 season ) led to her signing contract with Epic Records and mark a milestone in her professional singing career.
