McDang

Thailand's most famous food expert and a respected ambassador for Thai cuisine, McDang is the one and only Thai celebrity food expert, chef and writer who has his own training class called “The Principles of Thai Cookery” with Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Art. He is also the author of some best-selling Thai language cookbooks and host of the popular weekly TV program McDang Show, etc. With a dream of making Thai cuisine become even better known internationally, he has appeared on a number of TV shows in many coutries around the world.

McDang is a member of the Thai royal family, to his father, a famous aristocrat. He graduated from Cheltenham College, Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service and the Culinary Institute of America. He once served as executive chef at the The Reach Hotel, Food & Beverage Director for Paul Tripp Restaurant Group. He started writing about food and cooking including McDang Cook Book, McDang Guide and appeared on TV cooking shows such as McDang Show and Father & Son Kitchen.

He had a great aunt, Her Majesty Queen Rambhai, wife of His Majesty King Rama VII — the last absolute monarch of Thailand.
